There are more than 400 "eco-labels" on the market. This makes the consumer confused. Because of this confusion, the consumer may lose confidence in these labels. Which label is better? What does this label mean? Rede ACV's Labeling working group, coordinated by Felipe Coelho, from Fundação Vanzolini, conducted training in partnership with GS1, on 18.03.2021. With 20 participants from various sectors (food, packaging, paper, among other), the class reflected Rede ACV's important ambition: to promote the diversity of expectations, experiences and concrete applications of life cycle thinking and LCA, discussing the role of the label to communicate attributes and guide decision making and consumption habits, always mindful of the role of each individual, to be informed and critical.
